Robust Drop Stitch, Inflatable Ice Bath
A portable ice bath tub built like a paddleboard. Drop-stitch PVC, the same rigid, air-tight construction used in SUP boards, keeps the walls straight under a full 380 litres. The round 90 x 90 x 90cm tub sets up in your garden, home gym or on a balcony, then folds flat into its carry bag once drained.

Drop-stitch construction
Why an inflatable wall holds 380 litres without bowing, and keeps it cold
Two PVC skins joined by thousands of internal threads, the same construction as a rigid
paddleboard. Inflate the cavity and the wall behaves like a panel rather than a bag. That
8 cm of trapped air also slows heat exchange, and the inflatable drop-stitch clip-on lid cuts warming from above.

01 · Inflate
Air fills the 8 cm cavity between the two PVC skins.
02 · Tension
Thousands of internal polyester threads pull both skins flat and taut.
03 · Rigid
The wall behaves like a solid panel: 380 litres fully loaded, no bowing, folds flat once drained.
04 · Insulate
The air wall doubles as a thermal barrier and the clip-on lid slows warming, so the water stays cold for longer.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
CAN I USE MY ICE BATH AT HOME OR IN THE GARDEN?
Yes. Plunge PRO is built for home use. Set it on a flat, level surface such as a patio, decking, garage or home gym floor, and fill it from a hose or tap, with no plumbing or mains power needed. Full, it weighs around 400kg, so if you're using it indoors, keep it on the ground floor.
HOW COLD SHOULD THE WATER BE FOR THE BEST RESULTS?
Most people see the best results between 11–15°C. If you're new to cold water immersion, start closer to 15°C and work your way down as your body adapts. The goal is a controlled challenge - not an endurance test. Even slightly cold water delivers meaningful recovery benefits.
HOW LONG SHOULD I STAY IN FOR?
The research supports 10 to 15 minutes at 11 to 15°C. If you're new to cold water, start with 2 to 3 minutes at the warmer end and add a minute or two each session as you adapt. Time in the water matters more than getting it colder, so build duration first and leave the temperature alone. Get out if you start shivering hard or feel numb.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE IT?
For active recovery, 3–5 sessions per week after training delivers strong results. Daily use is common among committed athletes and those building mental resilience. Listen to your body - consistency matters far more than frequency when you're starting out.
IS IT SAFE FOR EVERYONE TO USE?
Cold water immersion is safe for most healthy adults. However, if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, Raynaud's disease, or are pregnant, consult your healthcare provider before use. Always enter the water slowly and never plunge alone if you're new to cold water immersion.
HOW EASY IS IT TO SET UP AND STORE?
The MyVYRO Plunge is inflatable and folds down to just 90 × 30 × 30 cm - compact enough to store in a cupboard or take to a training camp. Setup takes minutes and no tools are required. Fill, plunge, deflate, store. That's it.

Do you actually need a chiller?
Most of the price gap between a £300 plunge and a £5,000 one comes down to one component. UK tap water does more of the work than people think, here's what actually matters before you buy.
The research backs 11-15°C for 10-15 minutes. Duration matters more than shaving degrees off the water, and near-freezing dips add risk without adding benefit.
